San Joaquin Valley RCIS Approved by CDFW
The purpose of this notification is to inform you that the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has approved the San Joaquin Valley Regional Conservation Investment Strategy (RCIS). The RCIS includes a strategy (goals, objectives, actions, and priorities) for the conservation of sensitive species, habitats, and other natural resources within the San Joaquin River Basin area, which can be used to help guide development and conservation projects, including mitigation. Anyone or any entity may implement actions included in any approved RCIS. The final San Joaquin Valley RCIS is available on CDFW’s RCIS web page.
If you would like further information regarding the RCIS Program, please visit CDFW’s RCIS Program web page or email the RCIS Program Team at rcis@wildlife.ca.gov.
Thank you for your interest in the RCIS Program,
