Draft 2025 AWMP Guidebook Release and Public Comment Period Open

The Draft 2025 Agricultural Water Management Plan (AWMP) Guidebook is now available for public review and comment. Updates to this guidebook were made to improve clarity and provide additional resources and references. A written comment period commences on July 23, 2025, and closes on August 22, 2025. All inquiries should be directed to the contacts listed below.

How to submit a public comment:
Send your comments to the Department of Water Resources (DWR). Please include your name, contact information, who you are representing, and reference the Draft 2025 AWMP Guidebook topic prominently (e.g., in the subject line if submitting an email) (“AWMP Guidebook”). Written comments must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025.
