Today, from 10 to 11 a.m., Elsevier, a global informational analytics company, and the Government-University-Industry-Philanthropy Research Roundtable (GUIPRR) will partner to host a webinar on Zoom exploring how data-informed strategies are transforming the accessibility, agility, and competitiveness of the global science and technology ecosystem. More information and meeting materials on “Data-Informed Decision-Making: Shaping the Future of Science & Technology” are available on the National Academies website. The webinar is free. Registration is required.

BCX invites input on draft aquifer recharge document
The Basin Characterization Exchange (BCX) welcomes peer input on the BCX draft Aquifer Recharge Potential (ARP) Mapping Process document, which describes the datasets, methodologies, and considerations used in creating ARP maps. Comments and feedback are preferred by Friday, May 30, and can be submitted via email to Basin.Characterization@water.ca.gov. For those who missed the April 22 BCX webinar that featured a presentation related to this document, the meeting recording and presentation slides are now available on the BCX Hub.
