Today at noon: CNRA hosts virtual update on L.A. fires
The California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA) will host an online update on the L.A. fires at noon today. “Update on the Los Angeles Fires: Ongoing Threats and the Road to Recovery” will discuss continuing impacts and threats and how we can work together to support assistance, recovery, and rebuilding for Los Angeles. The virtual event, part of the Secretary Speaker Series, will run one hour and include speakers from CAL FIRE, DWR, the Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force, and the Irvine Ranch Conservancy. CNRA Secretary Wade Crowfoot will moderate. Registration is free but required to join this online discussion.

DWR Water Shortage Vulnerability Scoring & Tool tutorial, Feb. 5
In an online tutorial and meeting to be held on Wednesday, Feb. 5, DWR will provide an overview of the Water Shortage Vulnerability Scoring and Tool features and underlying data, demonstrate how to navigate and apply the tool to commonly asked questions, and offer opportunities for participants to ask questions and discuss potential uses. This event runs one hour and starts at 9:00 a.m. Registration is required to attend this online event.
