ET Summit 2024 is hosted by the Energy Transition Coordinating Council (ETCC) (etcc-ca.com) and will be held October 8 and 9, 2024, at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento. As one of the founding members of the ETCC, the California Energy Commission (CEC) is looking forward to this in-person gathering working to advance energy efficiency and decarbonization technologies through California utility customer programs. The summit will showcase the work of ratepayer-funded research programs, including the Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC), and will focus on understanding technologies and markets for customer programs. The conference draws an illustrious group of speakers from the CEC, code agencies, national labs, and utilities.
Commissioner Andrew McAllister will help kick off the conference at the Opening Panel on October 8. Throughout the two-day conference, CEC staff will be moderating and presenting in sessions on:
- Heat pump space heating
- Panel upgrade options
- The current state of EVs
- Potential paths forward for hydrogen and hydrogen blends
- Scaling building decarbonization
Registration and program information are at ETsummit.com. Items to note include the pre-conference evening reception on October 7. The hotel group rate ends September 16.
