Now Taking Applications: BirdReturns-Sandhill Crane 2024-2025 Program
The Migratory Bird Conservation Partnership (Audubon California, The Nature Conservancy, and Point Blue Conservation Science) is now accepting online applications for the BirdReturns-Sandhill Crane 2024-2025 Program. This program offers farmers and landowners in the Sacramento Valley and Delta an opportunity to receive financial compensation for providing a few weeks of habitat on flooded and/or unflooded fields for a minimum of eight weeks between October 1, 2024, and March 15, 2025.
Applications are being accepted now through August 20. The workshop will feature speakers as well as Q&A sessions for the following conservation programs available to farmers: BirdReturns, Bid4Birds, Nesting Bird Habitat Incentive Program, Fish Food Program, RCPP/EQIP, and more!
