Regulatory Request System released by USACE
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has launched the beta version of its Regulatory Request System (RRS). The system is designed to streamline the permit application process and make permit reviews more transparent and efficient. This version allows the public to submit pre-application meeting requests and jurisdictional determination requests. Later this year, the RSS will get additional capability that will allow the electronic submission of permit applications.

Lunch-MAR to discuss integrating nature-based features
Integrating nature-based features into flood risk management projects will be the focus at next week’s Flood-Managed Aquifer Recharge (Flood-MAR) Program lunchtime webinar. A representative from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be the featured speaker. The Lunch-MAR webinar will be Wednesday, March 6.
Sierra Nevada Conservancy summit marking 20th anniversary
The Sierra Nevada Conservancy’s Watershed Improvement Program Summit is marking a milestone this year. It will be the 20th anniversary of the conservancy. The agenda will highlight many of the accomplishments over the last two decades. The summit will be Friday, March 8, in Sacramento.

Workshop on Delta climate adaptation plan set for March 1
The public is invited to attend a workshop on the draft Delta Adapts Adaptation Plan. The workshop will be hosted by the Delta Stewardship Council on Friday, March 1, in Walnut Grove. The adaptation plan covers climate adaptation strategies for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and Suisun Marsh, including high-priority actions and how to finance adaptation. Ideas generated during the workshop will be considered along with other comments on the draft plan.
Dallas to host Public-Private Partnership Conference and Expo
Dallas has been chosen as the site for this year’s Public-Private Partnership Conference (P3C) and Expo. It will run March 11–13. The conference offers an opportunity for public officials and private industry to collaborate on alternative project delivery methods to more efficiently build, finance, and maintain America’s essential infrastructure.
