 Delta Welcome Signs Going Up
Signs have begun going up welcoming motorists to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta National Heritage Area - a Delta Protection Commission effort in partnership with numerous state agencies.

What's Happening with 30x30?
Wednesday, June 21, noon to 1 p.m. (Zoom)
The California Natural Resources Agency Speaker Series explores Califonia's progress in the global movement to protect 30% of land and coastal waters by 2030. A just-released progress report shows California added nearly 1,000 square-miles of conserved land in just one year toward the 2030 goal.
Outdoors for All
Thursday, June 29, 1 p.m., (Zoom)
The California Natural Resources Agency is seeking feedback on a draft strategy aimed at ensuring all Californians have access to the outdoors, regardless of their background or location. The Outdoors for All initiative’s draft strategy maps out how government, public and private partners can collectively build a movement to achieve equitable outdoor access. This virtual workshop will be held to share information and gather public comment. If you'd like to comment, please register and indicate that you would like to do so by June 27.

Saturday, June 24: River Rumble in at the foot of Main Street in Rio Vista, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. - vendors, food trucks, music, activities for kids.
Saturday, July 1: Oakley Summerfest on Main Street between O'Hara Ave. and Vintage Parkway - music, 5k run, activities for kids.
Monday, July 3: Barron Hilton Fireworks Display at Mandeville Tip County Park, 6:30 to 10:45 p.m.
Tuesday, July 4: Brentwood Light Up the Night Drone Show in downtown Brentwood, 8:30 to 9:15 p.m.
Tuesday, July 11: San Joaquin County Historical Museum presents "Lodi Vines: Past, Present, & Future," a celebration of Lodi's wine and grape industry, at 5:30 p.m. at the San Joaquin County Historical Museum. (Tickets are pre-purchase only.)
Numerous dates through September: Yolo Basin Foundation Bat Talks and Walks in the evenings at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area (time varies).
 Harmful Algal Blooms Report
There is currently a Harmful Algal Bloom caution at Contra Loma Reservoir in Antioch. People are advised to stay away from algae and scum in the water. Do NOT let pets go in the water, drink the water, or eat scum on the shore. Keep children away from algae. Do not eat shellfish from this waterbody.
