 Delta Protection Commission Meeting

Join the next Commission meeting on March 9 at Peter's Steakhouse in Isleton. The Commission will be discussing comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Delta Conveyance Project (Delta Tunnel), Draft Survey of Cultural Resources in the Delta, and more. The meeting materials will be available on the Commission website after March 2.
 Delta National Heritage Area Management Plan Advisory Committee Meeting
Thursday, March 2 3 PM to 5 PM

The next Delta National Heritage Area (Delta NHA) Management Plan Advisory Committee Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 2. Join us for discussions about the Delta NHA Management Plan, Interpretive Plan, and more. This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. The meeting agenda and materials will be posted 10 days before the meeting.
 Delta Independent Science Board Meeting
Friday, March 3 10 AM to 12 PM

Join the Delta Independent Science Board's (Delta ISB) March 3 meeting for a discussion on reviews of the Delta Conveyance Project Draft Environmental Impact Statement and Draft Scientific Basis Report Supplement for the Voluntary Agreements.
 Available Now: Delta Residents Survey
The Delta Residents Survey is live! If you live in the interior Delta, look for a invitation to the participate in the survey in your mailbox. The invitation letter will include a personalized link and QR code to access the survey online. All survey respondents will receive a gift card as a token of appreciation.
The Delta Residents Survey is aimed at bridging information gaps to better understand Delta residents’ livelihoods, well-being, priorities, and concerns for the region. Survey responses will be collected until the end of February.
 Delta Conveyance Project Public Workshop

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District will host its fourth public workshop discussing the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Delta Conveyance Project (Delta Tunnel) on March 1 in Stockton.
 Let's Talk Ag Meet and Greet
Friday, March 3 4 PM to 6:30 PM

Join Restore the Delta's "Let's Talk Ag" Meet and Greet on March 3 to enjoy some food and drinks while talking to other members in the community about the future of Delta agriculture and sustainability! This event is for farmer and ag-tivists to get together, network, build communities, and discuss. Pre-registration is required. Registration for the event will close on February 28 at 5 PM.

 Free Admission to Locke Boarding House Museum
Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5 11 AM to 3 PM
Celebrate the Sacramento Association of Museums' Museum Weekend at the Locke Boarding House Museum on March 4 and 5. The Museum will be offering free admission and parking. While you are there, check out the new exhibit Chinese Pioneers: Power and Politics in Exclusion Era.
 Oakley Youth Employment Workshop

On March 11, the Oakley Youth Advisory Council will be hosting the Annual Youth Employment Workshop and Job Fair at the Oakley Recreation Center. This event includes free lunch, job search assistance, application tips and tricks, mock interviews and more.
 Delta Through the Lens: Photography Exhibit

Californians have many ideas about what the Delta means to them. The Delta Through a Lens Exhibition invites you to share your unique perspective of the Delta and the East Bay Regional Parks. Submissions will be accepted until March 10. You can check out the exhibit from March 17 through April 2 at the Big Break Regional Shoreline Visitors Center.
 Brentwood 75th Anniversary Community Highlights
Happy birthday Brentwood! This year marks 75 years since the City of Brentwood became incorporated in California. You are invited to share your memories and photos of the City’s past, from its founding in 1948 to now. The photos will be featured in a 75th Anniversary Photo Mosaic, the City of Brentwood website, and on the City’s social media channels. Submit images and stories here.
