 Delta Protection Advisory Committee Meeting
Delta Protection Advisory Committee (DPAC) Meeting Tuesday, January 4 5:00 PM Virtual Meeting
This meeting's agenda includes the election of 2022 DPAC Chair and Vice-Chair, an update on a proposed “Delta as Place” survey of Delta residents, and a report and discussion on the Delta Conveyance Design and Construction Authority Stakeholder Engagement Committee.  Delta Independent Science Board Meetings
Wednesday, January 12 1:00 PM and Thursday, January 13 8:30 AM Virtual Meeting
The Delta Independent Science Board (ISB) will kick off its presentation series to orient new members on Delta science and management. On January 12, this meeting will include presentations on the State Water Project and Central Valley Project from the California Department of Water Resources and the United States Bureau of Reclamation, and an overview of the Delta Conveyance Project from the California Department of Water Resources. On January 13, the Delta ISB will discuss current and future reviews, including its current review of the draft 2022-2026 Science Action Agenda. View the Delta ISB meeting agenda (PDF).
 Nominate a “Delta Champion”
Nominations are due Friday, January 14
The Delta Regional Foundation is seeking nominations for its inaugural Delta Champions awards. Recognizing the best in Delta achievement, the awards will recognize recipients in five different categories, including promotion, preservation, and improvement of the region. Nominations are due January 14, 2022 and the awards will be presented at a dinner in the Delta on March 18, 2022.
 Delta Invasive Species Symposium on YouTube
The December 2021 Delta Invasive Species Symposium highlighted early detection and rapid response (EDRR) lessons learned, current EDRR efforts across the Delta and beyond, and future challenges and solutions for EDRR work. The symposium was sponsored by the Delta Interagency Invasive Species Coordination (DIISC) Team, the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy, and the Delta Stewardship Council’s Delta Science Program.
 Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) Weekly Report
There are currently no "Danger" or "Caution" level advisories in the Delta.
