Delta Heritage Forum
Wednesday, November 3 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Virtual meeting
The Forum is a free event focused on efforts to preserve and tell Delta stories, opportunities for partnerships and collaboration, and networking. The focus this year will be on the NHA Management Plan. Invitees will include cultural organizations, federal, state, and local officials, business and civic organizations, and those interested in Delta heritage.  Delta Leadership Program Nominations
Nomination period closes November 19
The nomination period for the Delta Leadership Program is now open! Please nominate (self-nominations are accepted) individuals whom you consider potential or emerging leaders in the Delta community, and who would find this kind of top-level development and networking opportunity to be valuable. We encourage nominations from all walks of Delta life – agriculture, law enforcement, local government, non-profit organizations, local business, tourism and hospitality sectors, among others.  Great California Delta Trail Draft Master Plan - Coming Soon!
Anticipated release date: November 18
The draft Master Plan for the Great California Delta Trail is anticipated to be released for public comment on November 18. The Master Plan proposes ways to link trail systems from Sacramento to the San Francisco Bay - and we want to hear your feedback!
The public comment period on the draft is expected to begin on November 18 and end on December 16. There will be two public presentations on November 30 and December 8 held virtually from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM each day.

 Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) Weekly Report
There are currently no "Danger" level advisories for harmful algal blooms in the legal boundary of the Delta. There are areas with a "Caution" warning including Big Break Regional Shoreline, Discovery Bay, and Stockton Waterfront/McLeod Lake.
