WBKey - New Login System for the eAR Portal
This email is to inform you of an important and mandatory update to the login system for the eAR (electronic Annual Report) Portal used for reporting annual public water system information to the Division of Drinking Water.
The eAR Portal now requires multifactor authentication through the WBKey single sign-on system. This change was made to enhance security and streamline access in alignment with state requirements. Moving forward, everyone will be required to use a WBKey account to access the eAR portal.
A live, hands-on training workshop will be hosted in early 2026, which will provide a step-by-step walkthrough of creating a new WBKey account.
What is Required?
Nothing is required right now. Training will be provided before the next eAR reporting cycle starts in 2026.
What if I need Access Now?
If you need access now, visit the eAR Portal and click on the "Register" link. Once there, fill in all the required information. If you need any assistance during this process, refer to the WBKey Getting Started site for guidance.
After completing the registration process, if you already have an existing account, you should be able to log into your eAR account without any issues. However, if you do not have an eAR account yet, you will need to associate your profile with a water system(s).
Please refer to the step-by-step tutorial video on how to associate a water system(s) to your profile, located HERE. Additionally, you can refer to the eAR user guidance document.
Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our eAR Customer Service Team.
Thank you,
The eAR Customer Service Team
