Written Comment Period Open
February 21, 2025 - March 7, 2025
The written comment period opens today (February 21) for input on the draft Fiscal Year 2026 Work Plan for the Santa Monica Bay National Estuary Program. The Work Plan outlines priorities and tasks from October 2025 to September 2026 to protect, restore, and enhance Santa Monica Bay and its watersheds.

The Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission is a non-regulatory, locally based state entity established to monitor, assess, coordinate, and advise the activities of state programs and oversee funding that affects the beneficial uses, restoration and enhancement of Santa Monica Bay and its watersheds. |
