On February 20, 2025, the State Water Board will hold a hearing to consider designating the Kern County Subbasin as a probationary basin under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).

How to provide public comments remotely and in person: 

• Fill out a virtual speaker card using our online form. 

• The Board Clerk will respond to your form with Zoom login information for the hearing.  

• Should you have any questions or problems please send an email to: board.clerk@waterboards.ca.gov. 

• You will not be able to join the Zoom meeting until you submit this form and receive an email response from the Board Clerk.  

• The online speaker card can also be used to sign up in advance of the hearing to speak in-person.  

• You may also wait to fill out this speaker form in-person on the day of the hearing; staff will be available to support with this, if needed.
