Extended Deadline for Written Comments on Proposed Changes to the Water Measurement and Reporting Regulation

The deadline to submit written comments on the draft proposed changes to California Code of Regulations Title 23, Chapters 2.7 (Water Diversion and Use) and 2.8 (Measuring and Monitoring, commonly referred to as SB 88) has been extended to 12:00 noon on Monday December 2, 2024. Written comments must be submitted via email to DWR-Measurement@waterboards.ca.gov. There will be additional opportunities for comment on the proposed regulations as the formal rulemaking process proceeds in late 2024 or early 2025.

The draft proposed regulation changes and a recording of the November 13 staff workshop are available on the Water Measurement and Reporting Regulation Rulemaking webpage.
