The Division of Water Quality's (DWQ) Underground Storage Tank (UST) Cleanup and GeoTracker Unit are pleased to share that the team presented an update on both programs to the State Water Resources Control Board on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The team shared an overview of the UST Cleanup Program's core responsibilities and duties and program priorities for the next two fiscal years. The team also presented a history of GeoTracker, what the system does, how it's managed, and highlighted upcoming projects both within the Water Boards and collaborating with outside agencies.
