City Council Update
The City Council met twice in September. On September 16, the Council approved Hispanic Heritage Month. From September 15 through October 15, we recognize major events related to Hispanic countries. The Council also received an update on staff work towards the City Council's priorities, and information on bond financing for the new aquatic facility and community center at Heather Farm Park.
The Council will meet next Tuesday, October 7. The Council will hear the annual report on the Shadelands Property and Business Improvement District, and provide direction on the framework for the General Plan update.
You are welcome to attend our meetings in person, or watch on Walnut Creek TV, YouTube live, or video on demand through Roku, Amazon Firestick, and Apple TV. Find out more meeting details by visiting our public meetings and agendas webpage.
