City Council Update
The City Council meets next Tuesday, September 6, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Council will consider whether to endorse Measure O on the November ballot. That is the proposed 1/2 cent sales tax increase that would be in effect for ten years should voters approve it. The City Council will also meet on September 20 when the newest members of our Youth Leadership Commission are introduced, and there will be a review of the draft Housing Element update.
You are always welcome to attend our meetings, participate with your comments, or simply watch remotely on Zoom, our website, YouTube or Walnut Creek TV. You can find more information including agendas and videos or prior meetings by visiting our public meetings webpage.

More than a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963, the show is based on a true story about Cline's friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger. The musical play, complete with down home country humor, true emotion and even some audience participation, includes many of Patsy's unforgettable hits such as "Crazy," "I Fall to Pieces," "Sweet Dreams" and "Walking After Midnight" -- 27 songs in all.
