All Walnut Creek Open Space Areas Closed Due to Fire Danger and Extreme Smoke
All Walnut Creek Open Space areas are closed as of 1:30 PM Wednesday, October 11 due to fire danger and extreme smoke. A red-flag warning in the area has been issued for extreme fire danger with accompanying high winds expected. It is illegal for anyone to enter the Open Space for any reason while sites are marked closed. For information on when Open Space areas will re-open and the latest updates on other City facilities visit www.walnut-creek.org/NorCalFires
