The volunteer force is strong is Walnut Creek!
April 22-24, Volunteers for Outdoor
California (Vo-Cal) donated more than 570 hours re-routing a
steep, badly eroded section of trail in the Lime Ridge Open Space. The new
trail is on an easier grade, giving hikers a safer way to enjoy the spectacular
views from Lime Ridge. To learn more about Open Space volunteer opportunities, email Supervising Ranger Nancy Dollard.
