The volunteer force is strong is Walnut Creek!

April 22-24, Volunteers for Outdoor California (Vo-Cal) donated more than 570 hours re-routing a steep, badly eroded section of trail in the Lime Ridge Open Space. The new trail is on an easier grade, giving hikers a safer way to enjoy the spectacular views from Lime Ridge. To learn more about Open Space volunteer opportunities, email Supervising Ranger Nancy Dollard.

Based on community feedback, we’ve expanded the membership eligibility for the North Downtown Advisory Committee to include residents, property and business owners in adjacent neighborhoods.
