Doris Davies Scholarship Program
It's not too late for High School Seniors from Victorville to apply for the Doris Davies Scholarship.
Information regarding this scholarship was sent to High schools throughout the City of Victorville. Students interested in applying before the Feb. 23 deadline, should reach out to their guidance counselors for the details.
Who is eligible for the scholarship? Any high school senior who resides in Victorville may apply. Upon request, the student's guidance counselor should provide a basic form to fill out (name, address, GPA, hobbies, graduation date, SAT scores, etc.), and the student should include a one-page essay explaining why they feel they deserve this scholarship.

Community Cleanup Day: April 18
We are seeking volunteers for our next City of Victorville Community Cleanup Day, April 18! Form a team with your family, community group, church group, or Scout group. Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration
Join us March 2 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a Dr. Seuss Birthday Extravaganza!
This FREE event is open to children ages 0-12, and will offer plenty of fun, including whimsical stories, creative activities, games, and small giveaways while supplies last. Children are encouraged to dress up as characters from Dr. Seuss books

Free Trees
The Victorville City Library is partnering with Neighborhood Forest to inspire youth environmentalism and add some green in our City of Victorville community! We invite parents and guardians to register your child to receive a free tree this Earth Day. Tree saplings will be delivered to the library and ready for children to take home around Earth Day.

Recreation Assistance Program for Kids!
We're accepting applications for our Recreation Assistance Program (R.A.P) for kids, which helps children and families with limited financial resources participate in recreation programs and activities at a discount or for free!
This program is open to Victorville youth ages 17 and under who qualify. Participating programs include sports, camps, pre-school, and group swim lessons.
The application is available at Hook Community Center or online at VictorvilleCA.gov/Recreation.
