FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 24, 2025
WHAT: Striping Operation and New Lane Patterns
WHEN: Oct. 27 through Nov. 7, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day
WHERE: Green Tree Boulevard from Hesperia Road to Ridgecrest Road
DESCRIPTION: The week of Oct. 27, the City of Victorville will launch a striping operation on Green Tree Boulevard that is aimed at increasing traffic flow between Hesperia Road and Ridgecrest Road.
The new striping will extend the second Eastbound Lane across the Brian Gengler Memorial Bridge and move the Westbound merge from the intersection at Ridgecrest Road over the bridge extending the length of two-lane traffic for Westerly traffic.
A new left-turn pocket will also be added at the intersection of Coad Road and Westbound Green Tree Boulevard.
Between Oct. 27 and Nov. 7, a contractor will be onsite intermittently to remove existing road pavement markings and stripe new lane configurations. During work hours, lanes will be shifted to make room for the striping operation.
Delays are expected and alternate routes are advised.
Warning signs and temporary traffic control devices will be displayed and removed each day throughout the duration of this project. Motorists are advised to slow down and proceed with caution when traveling in the vicinity of this road improvement project.
Questions can be directed to (760) 243-6318.
