We are now seeking volunteers and sponsors for our next Community Cleanup Day, April 12!

Animal Services
FREE Dog Licensing and Microchipping Event: Feb. 22
Stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center located at 16648 E. St. Saturday, Feb. 22 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for our FREE dog licensing and microchipping event. This free service is offered to Victorville residents only.
*Proof of residency and a current rabies vaccine is required.
Pet Adoption & Fostering
Meet pets that are available to adopt or foster at our Animal Care & Adoption Center located at 16648 E St. You can stop by Monday through Thursday 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
As a reminder, while we are still building out our new Animal Care & Adoption Center, we encourage residents to call our Animal Services to report stray dogs in the City of Victorville rather than bringing them to the shelter. For your personal safety, please don't try to capture stray animals.

Youth Sports
Registration is now open for our youth basketball!
We are seeking kids and teens aged 0-17 to join the ultimate playground of fun, where dribbles turn into giggles, and every shot is a chance for a high-five.
Our non-competitive youth basketball program is about having a blast while learning the game. Preregistration is required. Registration closes April 15.
Adult Sports
Registration is also open for men's 18+ Full Court and 35+ Adult Half-Court 4 on 4.
Basketball begins Monday and Tuesday nights in April. Rosters are limited to 12 people. All players must show valid ID upon signing up. Players must have matching jerseys during games. Preregistration is required. Registration closes March 28.

Seeking Vendors for Spring Festival & Egg Hunt
Applications are now open to vendors interested in participating in our Spring Festival and Egg Hunt planned for April 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hook Park.
Food vendor spaces are $65, and retail booths are $45 for a 10x10 space.

Dr. Seuss Birthday Extravaganza
Children ages 0-12 and their families are invited to join us at the Victorville City Library, Friday Feb. 28 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a Dr. Seuss Birthday Extravaganza.
This FREE event will offer plenty of fun with silly crafts, raffles, games, and small giveaways while supplies last. Children are encouraged to dress up as characters from Dr. Seuss books.

Zip Books: Is there a book you want to read, but the Victorville City Library does not have it?
Submit a zip book application, and you could get the item delivered right to your door. When you’ve finished reading the book, return it to our library for another patron to enjoy.
Free Tree for Earth Day! The Victorville City Library is partnering with Neighborhood Forest to inspire youth environmentalism and add some green in our #cityofvv community! We invite parents and guardians to register your child to receive a free tree this Earth Day. Tree saplings will be delivered to the Library and ready for children to take home around Earth Day.
