Animal Services
Pet Adoption & Fostering
Add a new furry friend to your family just in time for the holidays! Meet pets that are available to adopt or foster at our Animal Services Office located at 14206 Amargosa Rd. You can stop by Mon.-Thur. 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. and Fri. 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
New Office
Our Animal Services will soon transition to their new, permanent location. Thanks to a new lease with the Victor Valley Union High School District, the former Goodwill High School will be the site of the new Victorville Animal Services and Adoption Center. Staff is working hard to complete renovations on the buildings and get them ready to serve the public and our "furry" friends. We expect the new center to open Dec. 13. Watch for updates on our social media and website.
For more information, visit vv.city/animalcare or call (760) 955-5089.

What's the Tea, VV?
After nearly one year of the Victorville Wellness Center being open, over 100 individuals have graduated to permanent housing thanks to the supportive services we provide them at the Center, and hundreds of individuals are receiving services on campus.
In the upcoming episode of our podcast, we sit down with Deputy City Manager Scott Webb and the two operators who provide services at our Wellness Center to learn about this first of its kind facility and how we’re helping the unsheltered in our community gain stability.
This episode of What's the Tea VV? will launch Dec. 2 and will be available in both video and audio format. Watch the latest episode on YouTube or listen to it on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon, and other major platforms.

The City of Victorville offers a wide array of services to help residents dispose of unwanted items, such as bulky items, used/old cooking oil, or even old Christmas Trees!
Victorville residents that are looking to dispose of their used/old cooking oil can bring the leftover cooking oil to Victorville’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center (HHWCC) at 14889 Loves Lane!
The HHWCC accepts up to 15 gallons of used cooking oil in containers of 5 gallons or less from Victorville residents. It is open every Wednesday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is the perfect opportunity to dispose of used cooking oil safely and sustainably. Please ensure your used cooking oil is in a thick, rigid plastic container with a screw cap. No commercial/business waste accepted.
Want to learn more about the many services we offer, including FREE Christmas Tree disposal options for after the holidays, view our water/sanitation bill insert.
