Thanks to Measure P and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), our new Medic Truck 311 will soon be in service! This Truck will be placed at Victorville Fire Station 311 and is another element that will contribute to fulfilling our promise to expand public safety services in the City of Victorville.

Animal Care & Control
Pet Fostering and Adoptions: Drop by this weekend to meet the pets we have available for adoption or fostering. This Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., we'll be at Costco, located at 14555 Valley Center Dr.
You can also meet pets that are available at our Animal Care & Control Office, Mon.-Thur. 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. and Fri. 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
If you can’t adopt, please consider becoming a short- or long-term volunteer foster, which will help provide the animals in our care the space, attention, and comfort they need.
Free Licensing and Microchipping:
Our Animal Care & Control staff also offers free pet licensing and microchipping for Victorville Residents at our office located at 14206 Amargosa Rd. every Thursday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Concerts in the Park
Our Annual Concerts in the Park Series begins June 21! Bring your family for an evening of FREE musical entertainment, arts and crafts, KidsZone, and food vendors.
Concerts will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Hook Park on the following Fridays:
June 21 –Silver Lining (Country) June 28 – Tania Y Su Nueva Era (Latin) July 12 – Acme Time Machine (Oldies) July 19 – Southbound & Co. (Classic Rock)
During the concert, TXT2VOTE for your favorite Victorville Sings performer. Finalists will be selected from the first three concerts and the champion will be crowned at the final concert, July 19.
We’re still accepting applications for food vendors to join our Concerts in the Park series select Friday nights in June and July.

Library Programs
The Victorville City Library hosts great educational programs for children and teens.
Teen Tech Space
We invite ages 12 and older to join us for Teen Tech Space at our Victorville City Library.
Join us May 30 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to participate in our Teen Tech Space at our Victorville City Library. We invite teens to create a model on our 3D printer. We’ll also have an Oculus available for ages 13 and up.

Farmer Boys Book Club Reading Program
Now through May 31, kids 0-17 are invited to participate in the Farmer Boys Book Club Reading Program! Read five books or 300 minutes to earn FREE food from Farmer Boys! Registration is required.
