VICTORVILLE, Calif. — Today, the City of Victorville announced its search for the next Victorville Sings Champion. High Desert youth from age 7 to 17 are invited to register for auditions that will be held on May 15 at the Cultural Arts Center of the High Desert, located at 15615 8th Street. The top 15 singers will advance to compete at the City of Victorville’s Concerts in the Park Series this June and July.
Contestants can register online at VictorvilleCA.gov/Recreation or in-person at Hook Community Center located at 14973 Joshua St. between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. The registration fee is $5 before May 10. After May 10, the registration fee increases to $15.
Building on the success of last year’s event, Victorville’s Concerts in the Park Series will feature bands from a variety of genres along with performances by the top 15 Victorville Sings contestants. During the concerts, audience members will TXT2VOTE for their favorite Victorville Sings contestants. Finalists will be selected from each of the concerts on June 21, June 28, and July 12; and the 2024 Victorville Sings Champion will be crowned at the final concert, July 19.
