It’s been five years since Victorville Fire was reactivated and it’s time to celebrate! Join us for a Five Years of Reactivation Celebration, April 11 at 4 p.m. at Fire Station 311, 16200 Desert Knoll Drive. During this free event, we will also push into service three new Type 1 Engines benefiting the Victorville community. The "push-in" is a time-honored tradition that fire department's use to mark the addition of new apparatus to their fleet.
Victorville Fire's three, new Type 1 Engines are part of the City of Victorville's commitment to expanding public safety for our growing community.

Pet Adoptions & Fostering
Our Animal Care & Control team will be at The Home Depot located at 15655 Roy Rogers Drive on Saturday, April 6 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.! Drop in to view pets that are available for adoption.
If you can’t adopt, please consider becoming a short- or long-term foster, which will help provide the animals in our care the space, attention, and comfort they need.

Congratulations to our March #MyBizinVV winner, HD Family Events! Stay tuned to see their fully produced promo video!
The show must go on. We invite licensed Victorville businesses to enter this month’s free #MyBizinVV drawing. The winner will receive a fully produced video valued at $2,000 to use in promoting their business! We'll also post the video to our social media pages and highlight it in our newsletter. To enter, follow our Facebook or Instagram and make a post or story tagging us and using the hashtag #MyBizinVV that answers this question: “What about our community attracted you to establish your business here in the City of Victorville?”

Spring Festival
We had an eggs-tra fun time this past Saturday at our Spring Festival! Despite the weather, we had a great turn out. We appreciate our community for showing up and the wonderful vendors who participated in our event.

Library Programs for Kids & Teens
The Victorville City Library hosts great educational programs for children and teens.
Blocks and Cars:
Every Friday between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., children ages two to eight are invited to our Victorville City Library to kick their imagination into high gear with our Blocks & Cars Program.
This program is a great way to develop socialization and fine motor skills.

Earth Day Event
Celebrate Earth Day, April 22 at the Library by upcycling book pages to create something amazing. Drop in anytime from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event is free for kids 0-17.
Friends of the Library Book Sale
The Friends of the Library are having a book sale, April 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Grab a bag and fill it with books from the Friends of the Library section for $5.
