Institute for Public Strategies to Host Black Balloon Day Event: March 6
Every year, thousands of people fall victim to the opioid epidemic. Leaving behind families and loved ones who mourn their loss.
Black Balloon Day began with the family of Greg Tremblay in 2015. Since 2016, March 6 has been the fay that families and loved ones unite to remember and celebrate the lives lost to overdose.
Join the Institute for Public Strategies March 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Victorville Activity Center located at 15075 Hesperia Rd. in Victorville. This event will provide training and a free box of Narcan to help prevent overdose deaths and release a virtual black balloon to bring awareness to overdose deaths.
