Crews continue to make progress on our Bear Valley Road Bridge Widening Project. We expect this project could be complete as early as this summer. To improve travel on Bear Valley Road, we’re widening the bridge between Industrial Boulevard and Ridgecrest Road. We’re also adding a double turn lane from Eastbound Bear Valley Road to Ridgecrest Road in order to alleviate traffic congestion at this busy intersection.

Proclamation
Our City Council proclaimed February National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month in Victorville. Unfortunately, one in three teens in the U.S. will experience abuse from a romantic partner whether it’s physical, sexual, or emotional abuse. This behavior is unacceptable. Mayor Debra Jones presented a Proclamation to Regina Weatherspoon-Bell, Executive Director of A Better Way domestic violence shelter and praised her organization's efforts to prevent this kind of violence from happening in our community.
