75th Annual Victorville Christmas Parade
The 75th Annual Christmas Parade hosted by the Victorville Kiwanis is Saturday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. on 7th Street between La Paz Drive and Forrest Avenue.
Bring your holiday cheer and enjoy marching bands, dance groups, car clubs, horses, and an appearance by Santa! This year's Grand Marshal will be former Victorville Planning Commissioner, Larry Huber.
Festival of Lights and Tree Lighting
Our Festival of Lights and Tree Lighting is also on Dec. 3! We hope you’ll join us for this magical event as we light up our brand new tree from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at City Hall.
Take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus and shop our vendor booths for holiday gifts. We will have free horse-drawn carriage rides and a Kid’s Zone.

FREE Dump Day
Dump your junk for FREE! Dispose of unwanted items at our Free Dump day on Nov. 19 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the former Victor Valley Jr. High on Forrest Avenue at 8th Street. The event is open to Victorville residents only.

Spay & Neuter Clinics
We're hosting free spay and neuter clinics on Dec. 3 and Jan. 21 by appointment only for dogs and cats owned by Victorville residents. Clinics will be held at Hesperia Veterinary Services, 1011 Santa Fe Avenue E #101 in Hesperia.
Appointments are required and space is limited. To schedule an appointment, residents should email animalcontrol@victorvilleca.gov.
All dogs must be licensed by the City and cats must be owned by a Victorville resident. Base surgery costs for spay and neuter will be covered. For additional information about the clinics and services, visit vv.city/animalclinics or call (760) 955-5089.

26th Annual Veterans Day Celebration
We were honored to recognize local Veterans during our 26th Annual Veterans Day Celebration on Nov. 11 in Old Town.
During our Ceremony, we shared our Salute to Victorville Veterans and a video of seven City of Victorville employees telling their military stories. You can view the videos at VictorvilleCA.gov/VeteransDay.
Victorville Sings Winner, Jaylyn Sesma took the stage and entertained the crowd with patriotic performances.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to show their support of our military Veterans, including the bands, school clubs, and service organizations that participated in our parade.

In-Person Public Meetings
This week, we fully resumed in-person public meetings in Council Chambers at City Hall with our regularly scheduled Council Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
All public meetings, including those of the Victorville City Council and Victorville Planning Commission, are no longer offered on Zoom.
Remote viewing of Council Meetings is available through YouTube, but public comment must be given in person at City Hall during the meetings or comments can be emailed to cityclerk@victorvilleca.gov by 4 p.m. the day of the meeting.

Visit With Santa at the Victorville City Library
Santa is coming to our Victorville City Library on Dec. 7!
Children up to age 12 are invited to visit with the jolly fella for free from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Bring your camera and take photos!

Santa's Mailbox
Santa’s Mailbox has arrived in Victorville! Children can drop off their letters to Santa through Dec. 9.
Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope to receive a response from Santa!
The North Pole mailbox will be located inside Hook Community Center, 14973 Joshua Street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Winter Day Camp
Looking for fun kids’ activities during the winter break? Have your children join us for our Winter Day Camp!
We will have festive activities and lots of holiday fun! There will be two sessions, Dec. 19-23 & Dec. 26-30 at Hook Community Center.
Full day and half day camps are available for children ages five to 12.
