Expanded Service at Fire Station 315
On July 23, we expanded public safety efforts at Fire Station 315 thanks to Measure P revenue!
Building on our opening of Fire Station 315 last year with a two-person paramedic squad, this station on Eucalyptus Street is now staffed with a three-person medic engine to boost fire service and speed response times in southwest Victorville where a coverage gap existed.

Grant to Provide Pet Assistance for Victorville Homeless
This week, we received a $150,000 grant from the State’s Department of Housing and Community Development Pet Assistance and Support program to provide pet assistance for homeless individuals in Victorville.
We plan to provide animal care, additional kennels, spay and neuter services, microchipping, behavioral support, food, and transportation for pets at our interim homeless shelter at Westwinds Sports Center and our Wellness Center that’s currently under construction.
We are grateful to the State for their generous grant that will reduce the barrier to entry and increase the likelihood homeless individuals will seek shelter and other services.
