Hop on over to Hook Park for our Spring Festival & Egg Hunt on April 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We'll have an egg hunt for children, local food and craft vendors, and an inflatable KidsZone. Admission, parking, and the KidsZone are FREE!
Egg hunt tickets are $5 per child and are available for purchase at VictorvilleCA.gov/Recreation. Participants should bring their own baskets. Children who find a golden egg during the egg hunt will be awarded a prize that can be claimed at the Recreation Booth.

Mail Stolen from Post Office
A cage of mail was stolen from our local post office. We’ve been informed that some of the mail was en route to City Hall. This could include customer payments, legal notices, and more. Customers are encouraged to check their accounts online to verify payments post in a timely way. Contractors and other businesses are encouraged to check tracking information on your shipments or confirm receipt with your City contact.

World Autism Month
City Hall will Light It Up Blue during the month of April in support of World Autism Month. We're proud to encourage acceptance and inclusion while showing kindness to our friends and family living on the spectrum.

Measure P Oversight Committee Openings
We extended the application deadline for our Measure P Oversight Committee to April 11. Victorville residents are encouraged to apply for one of three vacant seats to represent the clergy, local major retail industry, and youth/recreation. More information is available at VictorvilleCA.gov/mpoc.

Victorville Sings Auditions
Do you have what it takes to be the winner of our Victorville Sings Competition? Youth ages eight to 17 are invited to audition and showcase their vocal talents on May 18 at 5 p.m. at the Victorville Activities Center. A total of 15 contestants will advance and compete for the winning title and fun prizes during our #cityofvv Concerts in the Park Series in June and July.
Registration is $5 at VictorvilleCA.gov/Recreation or at Hook Community Center.

Lane Closures on Hesperia Road
Hesperia Road between Sunset Drive and Coad Road is reduced to one through lane in each direction through July 8 due to road reconstruction and improvements for the Green Tree Extension. Please exercise extreme caution. Detours are in place.
