We've been made aware that community members are receiving phone calls from someone falsely claiming to be with the City of Victorville. Please be cautious. We will never call customers for payment to avoid shutoff on past due water bills.

Transition to District-Based Elections Complete
Thank you to our community for participating in our transition to district-based elections. After collecting community input at three community meetings and six public hearings, our City Council adopted Ordinance 2422 on Dec. 22. This ordinance includes the final district election map and sequencing. Our current Council Members will remain at-large representatives for the entire City until we host our first district-based election for districts 2 and 4 on the November 2022 ballot. After this election, the remaining three Council Members will continue as at-large representatives until the election for districts 1, 3 and 5 in November 2024. The map and ordinance can be viewed on our website at VictorvilleCA.gov/YourDistrictVV.

Installation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure
The Victorville Water District has begun to install an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system at residential and commercial properties in the City. The initial phase of this retrofitting project will continue through the end of the year with no water service disruptions expected. Once complete, customers will be able to access their water information through a web-based portal and receive alerts indicating potential leaks or high water consumption. This is an important tool that will help our efforts to conserve water.
