We're inviting our community to participate in a series of community meetings and public hearings about the City's transition to district-based elections. We hope you'll attend and offer input regarding election district boundaries in Victorville. The remaining meeting schedule is as follows:
Public Hearings:
-Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. – in Council Chambers at City Hall and via Zoom
-Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. – in Council Chambers at City Hall and via Zoom
The meeting agendas and Zoom details will be posted to the City’s website at VictorvilleCA.gov/agendas at least 24 hours prior to the meetings.

Festival of Lights & Tree Lighting
Our Festival of Lights and Tree Lighting is this Saturday, Dec. 4! We hope you’ll join us for this magical event from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at City Hall.
Take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus and shop our vendor booths for holiday gifts. We will have free horse-drawn carriage rides and a Kid’s Zone.

Victorville Fire Holiday Toy Drive
Feel the joy of giving this holiday season! Victorville Fire is joining with AMR to host a Holiday Toy Drive to collect new, unwrapped toys, clothes, gift cards, and money for children and teens of all ages on Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 12. Donations can be brought to the Panera Bread on Amargosa Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations are also accepted at all Victorville Fire stations, City Hall, and Starbucks on Valley Center Drive.

Winter Youth & Pee Wee Basketball
Keep your kids active this winter! Our winter Youth and Pee Wee Basketball season runs from Feb. 4 to March 26. Pee Wee registration costs $43 for Victorville residents and $48 for non-residents. Youth registration costs $63 for Victorville residents and $68 for non-residents.

Civil Rights Memorial Essay Contest Winner
Congratulations, Sohan Patel! Sohan won our Annual Civil Rights Memorial Essay Contest! We hope you’ll join us on Jan. 17 at our Civil Rights Memorial as we unveil a bronze plaque honoring the subject of Sohan’s essay, gender equality advocate and second woman to ever serve on the U.S. Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. More details about this event will be shared in the coming weeks.

Community Cleanup Day
We would like to give a huge Thank You to the fantastic volunteers & sponsors who helped make our most recent Community Cleanup Day a great success. 475 volunteers worked together to collect 7.93 tons of litter around Victorville. Everyone age five and older is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine is the only vaccine approved for persons under 18. The Pfizer vaccine is being administered at County and State OptumServ sites. A parent or guardian must accompany their children ages five through 17 to vaccine appointments, and a driver's license or birth certificate is needed to verify age.
