Ages: 6 to 11 Date: Tuesday, Feb. 17 to Friday, Feb. 20 Time: 2 to 5 p.m. Location: Columbia Park
Fun on the Run is a free, drop-in program where children can play games, try sports and enjoy arts and crafts with Recreation Services staff in a fun outdoor setting. No registration is required and participation is first come, first served. Parents or guardians must complete an emergency card and waiver on the child’s first day.

Join Sunnyvale's Teen Advisory Committee

Sunnyvale is now recruiting teens to serve on the Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) for the 2026–28 term. TAC gives teens the opportunity to share their voice and help shape programs, events and initiatives for teens in the City of Sunnyvale.
TAC is a proactive team of dedicated teens who volunteer to make Sunnyvale a great place to be a teen. TAC members help plan and sponsor city-wide events and advise Recreation Services staff on teen-focused recreation programs and volunteer opportunities. By joining TAC, you’ll build valuable leadership skills and have fun meeting new people along the way!

Looking for a fun, flexible job or volunteer opportunity this summer? The Summer Recreation Job Fair is a great way to learn about open positions and connect with staff in person.
At the fair, you can:
- Explore part-time, seasonal and volunteer roles
- Learn about positions in camps and aquatics
- Apply and interview on-site
- Receive a conditional offer for select positions, if qualified
