HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION
Sunnyvale, CA — On Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at approximately 9:39 p.m., Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS) Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 1225 Vienna Drive. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female victim inside a vehicle who had sustained gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival and remains outstanding. DPS is actively investigating the incident.
