SUNNYVALE CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING OF CORN PALACE PARK
Mayor to cut ribbon at City’s 27th park, located at the site of former local farmstand

City of Sunnyvale officials and community members will celebrate the grand opening of the City’s 27th park, the Corn Palace Park, at a ribbon cutting ceremony. The 2-acre park site is part of former farmland owned by the Francia family, and two generations of the family will join the celebration. The Francia family ran the “Corn Palace” farmstand for 50 years from 1965 until 2015 on the land surrounding the park.
