SUNNYVALE SELECTS NEW VICE MAYOR
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – At last night’s (Jan. 7) regular Council meeting, the City Council selected Councilmember Linda Sell to serve as vice mayor.
The vice mayor serves a one-year term and is selected by the City Council each January.
Current Councilmember Murali Srinivasan (District 3) is the outgoing vice mayor. During the meeting, the mayor and three councilmembers also took ceremonial oaths of office.
Larry Klein was reelected as mayor. Alysa Cisneros was reelected to the District 2 seat. Charlsie Chang was elected to the District 4 seat vacated by outgoing Councilmember Russ Melton. And Eileen Le was elected to the District 6 seat vacated by outgoing Councilmember Omar Din.
