Join us this Spring Break for Fun on the Run, our mobile recreation program filled with interactive games, sports, arts and crafts. No need to register—just drop by and join in the excitement. It’s the perfect way for parents and guardians to keep kids active in a casual environment. Parents/guardians must complete a waiver emergency form on the first day of participation. Questions? Discover Sun Flair Art
Check out Sun Flair, the newest public art project at Sunnyvale's parks! Twenty-six talented Bay Area artists have transformed ordinary fiberglass sun sculptures into stunning works of art. These unique pieces are currently on display in 11 out of 13 parks across the city. The remaining two pieces will be installed by April 4. Come experience these beautiful and vibrant sculptures in person at a park near you.

Spring StoryWalk®
Wednesday, April 16, 4 to 6 p.m. – Washington Park
Take a stroll through the park while you enjoy reading Everybunny Dance! by Ellie Sandall. As you walk, join in an exciting egg hunt and search for hidden treasures. At the end of the trail, create a fun craft activity while supplies last. This event is for all ages. No registration necessary so hop on in!

Super Safari Parent and Tot Classes
Ortega Park – For ages 2 to 3.5 – $121 Resident/$151 Nonresident
Give your child the ideal first preschool experience at our Parent and Tot class! Spend quality time with your child as you introduce them to a fun and enriching environment. In this class, parents or guardians join in on activities like art, singing, circle time, movement and free play. Join in on the fun!

Watercolor Painting - Thursdays, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Dive into the vibrant world of watercolor painting! With step-by-step guidance, bring your creativity as you develop your skills and confidence in this versatile medium. All materials are provided.
Creative Dance-Movement Classes - Saturdays, 1 to 2 p.m.
Enjoy dance and music in a safe and fun environment. Movements are adapted to everyone’s needs, promoting self-expression, coordination and confidence.

Join us for Sunnyvale’s 40th annual Hands on the Arts Festival! Enjoy a free, family-friendly celebration where you can explore culture and creativity through hands-on art workshops, roving performers and food booths. Festival art workshops are recommended for children age 3 and above.
Interested in volunteering during the event? Join us from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Full-day volunteers receive a free gift and lunch. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old. Adults must be fingerprinted.
