February is the shortest month of the year, but we have packed a lot of great programs in at the Library! Celebrate Black History Month, learn and create with our Silicon Valley Reads programs and learn about resources for new parents.
Please note:
- The Library will close early at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6.
- The Library will be closed on Friday, Feb. 7.
- The Library will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17.
- There will be no storytime from Feb. 16 through Feb. 22. Our storytime schedule will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
Many of our programs this month do not have registration. Space in our programs is still limited and the doors will close when the program is full.
For programs with registrations, we recommend arriving early. Registrants' spots are only guaranteed until the start of the program.

The program kickoff event will be held Thursday, Jan. 30, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at De Anza College. In-person tickets are sold out, but you can still join the event via live-stream.

Get childcare information and resources and meet other expecting parents! The Community Baby Shower honors new and expectant parents. Enjoy light refreshments, baby shower games and prizes. Receive a free board book for baby on the way too (while supplies last).

Sensory Storytime is a fun interactive and inclusive literacy program. It engages children through movement, music, active stories, sensory materials, and visual schedules. This program is for children with sensory challenges or difficulty being in large groups. This program is limited to 12 participants and their caregivers.
