Registration System Upgrade
On Wednesday, Aug. 2 between 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Sunnyvale Recreation will be conducting a registration system upgrade. During this time, the registration system WILL NOT be accessible. This includes both in-person and online registration, picnic reservations, facility rentals and accessing customer accounts. If you need to access your account, register or make a reservation, please visit Sunnyvale.ca.gov/Activities or call the Recreation Center Customer Service Desk prior to the system upgrade.

Join us for the Sunset Movie Series, our outdoor movie screenings under the stars! ✨ Grab your comfiest blanket, your favorite snacks and get ready to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of cinema. 🍿 Arrive early to save yourself a seat. All movies will begin after sunset.
Recreational Swim Schedule

Super Safari Preschool Sessions
Looking to introduce your child to a structured environment? Sign them up for Super Safari Preschool, a half-day morning program that is based on play. To join, your child must be 3 years old by Sept. 1 and be potty trained by the first day of class.

Recreation Scholarships for Youth with Disabilities
Youth (up to age 21) with disabilities that reside in Santa Clara County can use scholarship funds to register for a recreation program with City of Sunnyvale. Scholarships can assist with program fees, transportation fees and inclusion aide, depending on staff availability.
Must meet income guidelines, complete an application and submit required documents. Funding provided by California Department of Developmental Services.

ACA is a staff advisory committee that make recommendations to City staff on selected projects, programs and services to ensure all residents have access to City services. Residents with a need for accommodations, who are caregivers or professionals serving residents with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Instructor Highlight: Nan Zender
Say hello to Nan! 👋 Our Senior Center Restorative Fitness Instructor and Aquatics Ai Chi and Water Walking Instructor.
Nan has been teaching fitness classes since she was 14 years old. Much of her work has been centered around the pool where she taught adaptive swimming, water polo, Ai Chi and water walking. On land, Nan provides personal training, fascial training and restorative fitness. She loves giving her students the information and tools they need become their own best healers and learn how to move better and feel better. Outside of work, Nan enjoys walking, hiking, going to movies and spending time with family in the mountains of Colorado.
