New Programs
- Aqua Yoga Class - Washington Community Swim Center, begins October 4. The October 4th class will be FREE (an appointment will still be required and class size is limited to 12 participants).
- Appointment and water fitness pass required.
- Aqua yoga helps develop strength, static balance, and can help increase range of motion. The water environment allows a release from gravity, which allows optimum stretching that helps relieve body tension. Aqua Yoga can be used to help heal stiffness and muscle pain, as well as for decreasing anxiety and stress. No prior yoga knowledge is required.
- Master's Swim Program at Sunnyvale Swim Complex, Fremont Pool begins Tuesday, November 1
- There will be a meet and greet with the coach on the first morning at 7:30 a.m.
- Master's will initially be offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 8 a.m.
- Appointments and passes will be required ($12 residents / $15 non residents). An additional newsletter will be sent out a few weeks prior with more details on how to register.
Lap Swim Reminders
Keep the below steps in mind to help us serve as many swimmers as possible:
-
Keep your appointments – Make sure you have visits on your card before you arrive. Be on time for your reservation. If you must cancel, do so within 24 hours. Swimmers who miss three appointments will no longer be allowed to make reservations for a one month period.
-
Check in at the office – Let us know you’ve arrived to confirm your appointment.
-
Wait to enter the water – Enter the water at your designated time and after swimmers have cleared the pool deck.
-
Clear the pool deck promptly – Help us switch to the next appointment time by clearing the pool deck quickly.

Parking Reminders
Remember that you need a parking pass for the Sunnyvale Swim Complex. Pick up your pass during lap swim hours and place it on your dashboard. If you do NOT have your parking pass displayed you may get ticketed from the Department of Public Safety.
Fremont High School has assigned student parking this year. If you are parked in one of the student's or teacher's assigned spaces you risk getting ticketed.
Please be aware that lap swim times may coincide with student arrival. Check Fremont school's bell schedule to allow yourself adequate time before your lap swim appointment.
