Is your bike in need of a repair or tune-up? Not sure how to tell if your bike is safe to ride? Bring your bike to the Library!
10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Volunteers from Bike Sunnyvale (the local chapter of the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition) will also be on site to teach the ABC Quick Check, share safety tips, give our bicycle goodies, and answer any other questions.
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Professional bike mechanic, Ryan Murphy, will be available for advice and help with issues, like changing a tire, adjusting gears/brakes, etc. Assistance from Ryan will be first come, first served.

Celebrate local art with the Sunnyvale Art Club at their 2022 Annual Juried Art Exhibit, back in person in the Library's Program Room! Admire original artwork by club members and cast your ballot for your favorite piece for the club's Viewers Choice Award. You are also invited to an Artist's Reception on Saturday at noon, where you can meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments.

Join us for a discussion of By the Time It Gets Dark (2016, dir. Anocha Suwichakornpong). This 2016 experimental Thai drama follows a young filmmaker as she works on a documentary about the 1976 Thammasat University Massacre. Winner of numerous film festival awards. By the Time It Gets Dark is not rated by the MPAA.

Get Connected (In-Person) allows you to meet with a tech volunteer and ask questions about how to use your personal computer, tablet or smartphone. Learn how to attach a photo to your email, move app icons around on your device, take photos and more.
We are also happy to help you learn how to use the Library's Chromebooks available for borrowing.
No appointment needed, just stop by the Adult Fiction Room.
