Hello, Suisun City!
For the May edition of the Suisun City Scoop, we are excited to highlight the Development Services Department and share some fantastic progress happening around the community. Our team is committed to advancing development opportunities that bring new housing, businesses and improvements directly to Suisun City. Here are a few exciting projects currently underway or under review:
– Construction has officially started on the Almond Garden Housing project, which will provide 97 affordable housing units. – The highly anticipated Dutch Bros project is nearing the issuance of its building permits and is expected to begin construction very soon. – We are reviewing plans for a new 16-townhome development located on Lotz Way. – A 20-unit multi-family residential project is currently under review for our beautiful Marina. – We are processing permits for a 31-unit mixed-use development, bringing both housing and commercial space to McCoy Creek Road.
We also want to celebrate the hard work happening on the ground to keep our neighborhoods looking their best. A special thank you goes out to our dedicated Code Enforcement Officer, Eli Adams, who is making massive headway on addressing longstanding community issues and keeping Suisun City a safe and beautiful place to live!
Warm regards,
Ricky Caperton, AICP Development Services Director City of Suisun City
