The Move More Challenge goal is to slowly increase your step count (or step equivalent) from 3,000 steps most days during Week 1 to 7,000 steps most days by Week 5. If you have a different step goal in mind, you may also use this step goal to keep you motivated.
This challenge allows you to track your steps and step conversions from anywhere—at work, home, the gym, outside, the pool, a park, or wherever you move! You’ll receive:
✅ Physical, mental, and social health benefits.
✅ Photos and information about Bay Area places related to diverse communities with shared affinities as you travel on the virtual trail in PreventionCloud.
✅ Opportunities to share about your movement goals with coworkers.
✅ Chances to win exciting wellness prizes!
If a disability or medical issue makes it unreasonably difficult or medically inadvisable for you to participate in this challenge, please reach out to wellness@smcgov.org to discuss your reasonable alternative options. Recommendations of your personal health care provider will be accommodated within the wellness program.
