First BHSA Transition Taskforce Meeting on April 3rd!
The first Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) Transition Taskforce meeting is scheduled for Thursday April 3rd 3-4:30pm. Join us and help inform priorities as we transition our county behavioral health system to meet Proposition 1 requirements, emphasizing the need for supportive housing, integrated mental health and substance use services, serving the most vulnerable individuals living with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders and creating robust accountability and enhanced service delivery.
Who should join the Taskforce?
- You are interested in learning about and advising on overarching priorities for Prop. 1 requirements.
- You are interested in advising on the overall Community Program Planning process.
If you are primarily interested in providing input on specific topic areas (housing, direct treatment services, early intervention, etc.) there will be topic-specific input sessions kicking off in June 2025. To stay up to date on topic-specific sessions and other opportunities to provide input (surveys, etc.), please sign up to our notification list on the MHSA website, www.smchealth.org/MHSA.
