Happy December, JFY Family! WOW - this year has really flown by... we are only a few short weeks away from 2025!
As we enter this hectic holiday season, with finals and assignment due dates coming up, we want to encourage you all to carve out time on a regular basis to practice some self care. Where do you begin, you might ask? Read on!
Self Care Tips
1. Take BREAKS! Carve out a few minutes every 60-90 minutes to decompress and help you stay productive.
2. Stretch! Stretching helps release acids in our muscles and loosen up our bodies. Consider stretching during one of your breaks today!
3. Move however you can! If we are able to move about, do so; movement helps with blood circulation and concentration, so go on then and bust a move!
As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect with gratitude to all of you who have participated in our JFY program. We are so grateful to be in community with you all, and hope you have a Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! We look forward to seeing what 2025 has in store for you.
We must not forget about the 2024-25 Al Teglia JFY Scholarship that is still LIVE. Starting your application during winter break can help you get ahead in the New Year! Please be sure to read all about the Al Teglia scholarship by visiting our website. The JFY team also created the JFY Al Teglia Scholarship Checklist for youth to use as a comprehensive guide for submitting your application!
