This information has recently been updated, and is now available. Please note that on July 12, 2023 the East Palo Alto Sanitary District Board adopted a resolution of intent to submit an alternative proposal to File No. 22-09 - A proposal to establish East Palo Alto Sanitary District (EPASD), and independent special district, as a subsidiary district of the City of East Palo Alto (City). The resolution was submitted to LAFCo on July 13, 2023.

Therefore, the public hearing for LAFCo File No. 22-09 has been removed from the July 19, 2023 agenda and will be heard, along with the alternative proposal, at a future LAFCo meeting. When the item is set for hearing, a new public notice of the hearing will be published.

The July 19, 2023 LAFCo meeting will be at 2:30pm at the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors Chambers, 400 County Center Redwood City, CA 94063. There will be an information update on LAFCo File 22-09, but no action will be taken.
