Dear Colleagues:
Below is a unique opportunity to support the work of Justice at Last.
Pamela Estes, HT Program Coordinator, pestes@smcgov.org
Justice At Last is the only nonprofit law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area which exclusively serves survivors of human trafficking. We specialize in the areas of law identified by our clients as being the most critical and least available to survivors of trafficking. These include crime victim’s rights advocacy, record clearance and immigration relief. Since COVID-19 we have seen an increase in the identification of both sex and labor trafficked minors and young adults throughout the counties we serve in the Bay Area.
#Jog4Justice is targeted at youth in high schools and young persons in colleges and law schools and it is also open to anyone in the community! The goal is to help create awareness about human trafficking and allow for youth and young persons to get involved and take a leadership role in the anti-trafficking movement by helping raise funds to support trafficking survivors.
We hope you will help support our work by promoting this event and or by organizing a Jog for Justice event in your community over the Thanksgiving holiday to benefit the youth and young persons we serve at Justice At Last. You can organize a group run or another outdoor activity. You select the time, location and recruit a group of friends or community members. Participant can use the resources on our fundraising page to collect pledges and promote the event to friends.
To register or donate, please visit Jog For Justice Fundraiser Page. If you have questions or would like to be a sponsor please email us at jog@justiceatlast.org.
Thanks so much and wishing you and all your loved ones a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday,
