Monthly Meeting of the SMC Human Trafficking Initiative

• Participant Introductions
• Presentation: Marissa Harris, Assistant United States Attorney, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California. Marissa is the coordinator for federal human trafficking cases and issues in the Northern District of California. She’ll be speaking about “USAO Perspectives on Human Trafficking Prosecutions in the NDCA,” with time for Q&A.
• Pamela Estes, SMC Human Trafficking Advocacy Coordinator, County Updates
• Reports of Agency/Organization Updates

This is a San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office program in cooperation with the San Mateo County Police Chiefs and Sheriff Association. The monthly meeting of the San Mateo County Human Trafficking Initiative is open to members of governmental, non-governmental, faith- and community-based organizations, and members of the public who have a role or interest in the response to human trafficking within San Mateo County. HTI meetings focus on the response to human trafficking within the County, along with delivering relevant information on all aspects of human trafficking. Please forward this invitation to anyone interested in these topics.
